America’s first theme park is seeking a dynamic Leader for their extensive Food and Beverage operations. The position is responsible for the successful operation of all Theme Park restaurants, including seated restaurant dining, casual quick service, mobile vending operations, and our Catering/Picnics operations. Proven management experience in both front and back of house operations is required. Successful candidates will possess high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness. Strong experience in mentoring and developing effective Leaders, managing in a diverse multi-venue environment, and the ability to balance a number of projects simultaneously are all essential qualities. Knott’s Berry Farm, America’s first theme park, is seeking an experienced Culinarian to lead our Park Culinary operations. This is a dynamic position, with culinary responsibilities in our seated dining restaurants, our quick service restaurants, and our catering/picnics operations. Knott’s Berry Farm is looking for a qualified Entertainment Technician with a minimum of two years of experience including Theatrical lighting and lighting design. Knowledge of Vectorworks Spotlight is a plus.

Requirements:
Minimum of two years lighting experience. Knowledge of material and instrument lists, acquiring quotes and reviewing and submitting orders. Experience in inventory control in a warehouse setting. Must be detail oriented, organized and have prioritization skills.

This position is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a high safety standard, ride reliability, optimum capacity, and ride/attraction aesthetics for our guests and employees. Monitor employee performance (Hourly). Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned. Prepare, follow-up, and complete assigned Ride Rehabilitations (Job scope, assigned tracking numbers, personnel assignments, part ordering, documentation, and completion). Monitor daily ride performance, coordinate repairs, and documentation of repairs. Perform all Duty Supervisor assignments when scheduled.

Responsibilities:
Daily interactions with all Ride Maintenance personnel. (Employee Performance, Cleanliness, and Ride Status). Monitor and reduce ride downtime issues via hands-on repairs and maintenance. Monitor ride performance and delegate required action to enhance ride safety, reliability, and capacity. Issue and follow-up on Preventative Maintenance items for assigned rides. Coordinate scheduled Ride Rehabilitation assignments(Job scope, tracking numbers, personnel assignments, part ordering, documentation, and completion). Perform all Duty Supervisor job responsibilities as assigned. Interact with all departments to complete assigned tasks. Interact with Ride Manufacturer's to assist in resolving ride issues. Coordinate job scopes for outside vendors for repairs (job scope, bid sheets, final selection, scheduling projects, and completion). Order and follow-up on parts/components to maintain optimum reliability Provide guest service according to Knott's Berry Farm's standards. Adhere to all Company and departmental policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to established Performance Standards for Supervisor and Duty Supervisor. Perform opening, operating, and closing duties as outlined in department documentation. Respond to ride calls and give direction for safe expedient repairs. Accurately read blue prints (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic). Read and understand manufacturer's manuals, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, training manuals, policy manuals, chemical labels, and Material Safety Data Sheets. Complete all paperwork within the required time frame. Assist with DOSH inspections. Assist with safety inspections. Assist with removal of old rides/attractions and install new as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five years ride maintenance experience at the mechanic level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Writing, critical thinking, adjusting schedules, and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) application. Ability to perform multiple tasks on a daily basis. Analyze ride issues and take appropriate corrective action(s). Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interoperate an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as converting fractions to/from the decimal system, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, using both the standard and metric systems. Ability to read, understand, and implement manufacturer's manuals, safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, training manuals, policy manuals, chemical labels, and Material Safety Data Sheets. Ability to troubleshoot all maintenance issues (Electrical, Mechanical, Animation, Railroad, etc.). Ability to follow-up on and resolve all daily ride issues. Ability to effectively troubleshoot ride issues and expedite return to service. Ability to assist in all heavy maintenance assignments. Ability to delegate and follow-up on ever-changing work assignments. Ability to maintain a positive working atmosphere while building an effective team in a fast paced and demanding work environment. Ability to plan, execute and complete all assigned ride rehabilitations within the required time frame. Ability to execute and complete new ride installations within the required time frame. Develop documentation, training, Standard Exiting Procedures, testing, and opening on time. Ability to work effectively with all employees in order to function as part of a team. Ability to meet Knott's Berry Farm’s costuming and grooming standards.
Ability to meet rotating scheduling availability requirements, including availability during nights, weekends, and holiday periods. Ability to meet Knott’s Berry Farm’s attendance requirements as outlined in Knott's Berry Farm’s attendance policy. Ability to perform all Maintenance Technician's Essential Job Functions.

This position is responsible for concept development, designs, graphics, and drafting for shows and special events. This includes art directing and assisting a staff of production personnel that includes; carpenters, painters, prop personnel, lighting, sound, and special effects technicians to ensure execution of design within the budget and organization provided.

Requirements:
Possess a B.A. in theatre design, production design, or equivalent degree in a related field. Four years experience in theatre, film production, or entertainment production required. Advanced skills in Vectorworks or other C.A.D. and graphic design skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop needed.

Knott’s Berry Farm is looking for qualified seasonal technical staff with a minimum of two years of technical theatre experience in the following areas: stage lighting crew, stage hand/running crew, and sound board operator.

Lighting Technician - must be fully available. Must have two years experience working in a theatrical environment in either of the following areas: installing stage lights, light board operator, follow spot operator.

Stage Hand/Running Crew – must be fully available. Must have one to two years experience working in a theatrical environment as a stage hand moving scenery and set pieces, able to work safely during periods of darkness, fly rail experience, prop placement, etc

Sound Board Operator – must be fully available. Must have two years experience working in a theatrical environment as a sound board operator. Must have a background in live sound mixing and an ability to operate digital sound equipment.
