Adventures in Education Tours in one day, open house style, plus enjoy the all the world
class rides, shows and attractions of the theme park. Independence Hall - Encounter
with Ben Franklin, Encounter with Abigail Adams, tour of the Hall, including the Liberty
Bell, Hall of Flags, etc, "A Storm In Philadelphia"- taped multi-media presentation on
the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Rotating from 10am to 2pm.

Blacksmith in Ghost Town

Presentation/Demonstration by the Blacksmith on the
importance of his occupation in the Old West.

Peek-Ins & Hangin' Tree

Explanations of the importance of such places as the Assay
Office, Chinese Laundry, Barber Shop & Hangin' Tree in
the Old West.

Spinner in Ghost Town

Presentation/Demonstration of the art of Spinning in the Old West.

Trapper (outside Bird Cage Theatre)

Presentation on the occupation of Trapper in the Old West.

Nancy Kelsey (inside Bird Cage Theatre)

Presentation on the part she played in the journey West in a
Covered Wagon in the Early days of California.

Schoolhouse

Presentation by a Tour Guide in the old schoolhouse on
schooling in the late 1800's.

Pony Express Outpost
Available from 10 am to 1:30pm
Host has items from Native Cultures around the world, local
cave information, Pony Express information as well as live
critters to touch!

Boothill/Grist Mill
Available from 10 am to 2pm
Tour Guide available to talk about the cemetery
and Grist Mill in the Old West.

Candle Demonstration (outside General Store at Candle vat)

A presentation/demonstration by a Tour Guide on the history
of candles and their importance in the Old West.

Native American Encounter

Encounter with our Native American from the Chippwa &
Potawatomi tribes who talks about his heritage and
has many authentic artifacts to share.

Totem Pole Presentation in Indian Trails

Explanation of the Totem Poles and their stories given by a
Tour Guide.

Tipi Presentation

Visit our Western Trails Museum with displays and artifacts of

Stagecoach (next to Judge Roy Bean's)

Presentation by a Tour Guide on the role the Stagecoach played in
transportation of the Old West.

Train Depot

Tour Guide will talk about the role the Steam Train played in the
transportation in the Old West.

Edna & Durango Tours (behind Sign Shop by Log Ride)
Tours at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 & 1:30
Tour Guide will guide you through our refurbished train cars, The
Edna (private car of the President of the Railroad built in 1881,
and The Durango, a parlor car built in 1883.

Log Ride

Tour Guide available to talk about the importance of a Logging
Camp in the Old West.

Mine Ride
Tour Guide available from 10 am to 2pm
Tour Guide available to talk about different mining procedures
and the kinds of tools that were used in the 1800's.

Paleontologist (at Discovery Center in the back of the Edge)

Paleontologist will talk about life in ancient past and show some
real fossils.

Mystery Lodge
Tour Guide available 10:40, 11:40 & 12:40
20 minutes prior to show times, a Tour Guide will talk about the
Kwakwala Speaking People of the Northwest. Then you can
experience the mystery of the Indian Storyteller in Mystery Lodge.
