So you decided you are brave enough to take on the 1000 monsters waiting for you at Knott’s Scary Farm? Sure running for your life will get you around the park faster but…. there’s a better way to experience all 9 mazes, the exclusive shows, and ride overlays during this most wonderful time of the year! I have 3 different strategies for you to consider when visiting Knott’s Scary Farm to get it all done in one night!

The “I’m not messing around, let’s do this strategy” The 100% foolproof way to do and see everything is by going all out and getting the Fright & Fast Lane ticket. This ticket grants you expedited access to all the mazes and several rides leaving you plenty of time to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the event. Boo-Fet is also an option to include, basically creating the ultimate way to experience Scary Farm for an evening you won’t soon forget.

The Boo-fet add on ticket option. Running from the monsters can work up an appetite and honestly who has time for a sit-down meal when you have creeps crawling at your ankles. Boo-Fet is a buffet spread at either Knott’s Chicken Restaurant, Spurs or Amber Waves if you are staying at the Hotel. While enjoying your pre-event dinner aka last meal, get up close with some of the Scary Farm monsters and then gain early access to Wax Works, The Depths, Paranormal INC. and Dark Entities 30 minutes before the event opens to the public. Busting these 4 mazes out will get you a HUGE jump start on your way to accomplishing everything! From there when the event officially opens head straight to Special Ops: Infected, Origins: The Curse of Calico and work your way around clockwise to complete the mazes. Keep an eye out for show times so you don’t miss out on any you are interested in seeing. This deal also includes one souvenir bottle and one digital download with a monster at the Boo-Fet location for $34.99.

Can’t swing Fright & fast Lane or don’t dare to run on a full stomach? If you are going GA I would recommend the following tactics. Get there early and be one of the first to enjoy the rope drop swarm of the Ghost Town monsters and then head straight for Special Ops: Infected. This maze is in its last year and consistently has a long line all night. Next head to Origins: the Curse of Calico which is right next to it. I would then recommend heading back to start doing the 4 mazes near Ghostrider, hop on a few rides or catch the shows then hit the far back mazes which include Shadow Lands (last year) Dark Ride and finally Pumpkin Eater. Keep an eye on the showtimes as Puppet Up! is one you won’t want to miss this show!

Few other tips on making the most of your evening at the park: Buy your tickets online as well as parking if you do not have it on your season pass. If you have survived the entire evening and want to get a few pictures with the monsters, head to the main entrance about 30 minutes before the event ends, there you will find several monsters from each of the scare zones waiting to help you get that perfectly gruesome group picture. Knott's Scary Farm is select nights September 19 - November 2.
