While the theme park remains closed, Knott’s Berry Farm is introducing another new outdoor dining and retail experience beginning August 21. To plan your day at Taste of Knotts, take a look at our event guide outlining the ways in which you can enjoy the new and one-of-a-kind food, drink, and merchandise offerings throughout Ghost Town, Fiesta Village and Boardwalk. With over 35 food and drink items to choose from, the Taste of Knott’s event will offer more food variety with the addition of Mexican-inspired cuisine, Knott’s famous BBQ offerings, and classic Knott’s dishes pulled from the pages of the celebrated Knott’s Berry Farm Cookbook. Here are some tips and tricks to enjoying the Taste of Knotts!
The only way to experience the limited time Taste of Knotts is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com. A tasting card is required for event entry. Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $30 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $15 (plus tax) and include three tastings; children two and under are free. Tasting cards are date specific and must be purchased online at knotts.com or through the Knott’s Berry Farm mobile app prior to the date of visit. Season passholders receive a 10% discount on tasting cards.
Pro Tip: Make sure to purchase your ticket well in advance. In order to maintain proper physical distancing of guests, Taste of Knott’s tasting cards will be limited each day and may sell out.
Before arriving, please be aware that Knott’s Berry Farm continues to follow state, local and CDC health guidelines, there are new safety measures and operational changes we are establishing to ensure the safety of our guests.
All associates and guests must wear a facial covering while visiting Taste of Knotts or the Knott’s California Marketplace store locations and restaurants- masks are not required while sitting at a table or bench to eat.
Before entering the event, you will pass through a temperature area where your temperature is read. If anyone in your party has a temperature of 100.4°F/38°C or higher, you will be directed to return home and reschedule your visit.
Parking is free for Taste of Knotts. Arrive anytime during event hours.
Pro Tip: You can leave and re-enter the event on the same day. This means you can enjoy shopping in the California Marketplace anytime throughout the day and return to the event to browse the artisan booths.
Once you pass through the safety screening and security checkpoint, it is on to the main event. With over 35 food and drink options to choose from, the only hard part is deciding where to begin. Sweet or savory?
Fiesta Village is where you can find Mexican-inspired cuisines such as Chicken Mole on Basmati Rice and Carnita Fries with Pico de Gallo and Sour Cream.
When you enter Boardwalk, you can enjoy Knott’s famous BBQ offerings such as Smoked Pork Ribs with Corn Salsa and Smoked Brisket Sandwich with BBQ Sauce and Cabbage Slaw.
And last but not least, a trip into Ghost Town is where you’ll find the classic Knott’s inspired dishes such as Boysenberry Breaded Chicken Tender on Waffle with Fire Honey and Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp with Whipped Cream.
Pro Tip: Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free Items are available.
After grabbing your treats, find a table or bench to enjoy them. Masks are not required while sitting at a table or bench to eat. Seating is spaced out throughout the event footprint, and frequently touched surfaces are disinfected daily and sanitized constantly.
Pro Tip: Hand sanitizing stations are available through the event area. Be sure to utilize them frequently.
