The thrill of a roller coaster ride has a whole new meaning during "Coasting for Kids." The annual June event raises money for Give Kids the World, a Central Florida non-profit resort that provides cost-free, week long vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Top fundraisers ride a Knott's coaster for eight hours to help raise funds for these children. For more information on the event, registration and/or to make a donation visit Give Kids the World.

Our company takes great pride in the many contributions we make throughout the year to local organizations. Below are a few examples of what Knott's has done to help the community.
Run, walk and ride the coasters for the kids of Speech and Language Development Center (SLDC). SLDC assists children and adults with special needs, maximize their potential through education and therapy, and provides an environment of nurturing growth and inspiring achievements. Every March, the Coaster Run offers a 5K run/walk, 10K run and ½ Mile Kids Camp Snoopy Fun Run, followed by a finish-line expo with a complimentary piece of Knott’s famous boysenberry pie for all finishers.
