JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:
Responsible to oversee and direct the efforts of Food and Beverage complex. Manages all employees throughout the shift. Responsible for product ordering, scheduling and inventories. Controls product cost through proper ordering, product proportioning and inventory control.

DUTIES:

Job Summary:
Maintain high safety standards and ride reliability by performing routine inspections and repairs on all attractions. Visually observe and inspect equipment during operation in order to detect appropriate operation of equipment, any physical deviations and/or abnormalities. Perform Ride Rehabilitations and new installations as scheduled.

  • Inspect, service, test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Trouble-shoot mechanical systems and devices, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and take appropriate corrective action(s).
  • Detect basic electrical system malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions(s).
  • Perform daily inspections and repairs on ride tracks and vehicles, safety systems, power systems, mechanical systems, motors, gear boxes, drives, clutches, mechanical devices, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and conveyance systems.
  • Perform welding (Mig, Tig, and Arc) repairs and/or fabrication when assigned.
  • Proficiently use precision measuring devices for testing components.
  • Set-up and operate Lathe, Mill, Drill press, Grinder, and other metal working tools/equipment.
  • Accurately read blue prints (mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic).
  • Read and understand manufacturer's manuals for service, repairs, and/or replacement components.
Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years of job experience in related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems and monitoring equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the proper utilization and care of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Experience servicing maintenance equipment and systems (bearings, drives, lifts, gearboxes, chains, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quickly and accurately evaluate and diagnose power and control problems on a wide variety of foreign and domestic equipment to minimize equipment downtime while ensuring employee and guest safety. Perform necessary work, track, and document preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment. Must be able to read, understand and install electrical equipment and systems from engineered drawings, plans, and verbal directions. QUALIFICATIONS:

Position is responsible for overall uptime and health of all software systems and applications on a day to day basis including patches, updates, testing and vetting of version releases, utilizing KBF and Cedar Fair resources for escalations where necessary. It is the responsibility of the Systems Administrator is to manage the performance of the Applications Administrator, provide support to clients (internal and external) and ensure that service levels are achieved. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for directing the Applications Administrator in the development and accuracy of all point of sale and ticketing products for Knott’s Berry Farm, Soak City and Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. This includes all Micros, Gate Central, Advance Ticketing and web sales via Accesso.
  • This position is responsible for the ticketing pricing accuracy and communication across departments, and can be relied upon to make on demand decisions regarding prices, validity and text for POS and ticketing items.
  • Create and manage process for all product development needs including auditing paperwork for all ticketing and pricing.
  • Position acts as the central ‘gate keeper’ for user rights, access controls and access levels at the Active Directory level and Applications level.
  • Responsible for managing, in coordination with the KBF Systems Engineer, all Windows Server systems, including log monitoring, health checks, updates, user configuration and removal at all system levels.
  • Leads, instructs and engages with corporate/park administrators, technicians and vendors in regards to upgrades, troubleshooting, implementation of new systems and project related work on a regular basis.
  • Confers with users, management, programmers and peers to design data access needs, secutity violations, and programming changes.

Position will conduct and manage the remediation and future planning to keep application uptimes in line with department Service Level Agreements. Knott’s Berry Farm is hiring a Front Desk Supervisor. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Hotel front desk. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Hotel operation and all functions as the Manager on Duty. This position will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding guest satisfaction standards for all hotel guests during his/her shift. Must maintain safety and security in the hotel, working in conjunction with the Security Department. Must be able to cover the functions of all employees to assist whenever necessary. Must be able to work on projects as assigned by his/her supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer two years experience of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a multi-faceted guest service environment. Must be detail oriented and posses excellent planning and organizational skills. Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop staff toward a common vision are essential. Solid leadership skills required. Must be action oriented who can interface with management at all levels. Must be able to act quickly in dealing with all kinds of operational situations, including extremely heavy phone call volume and guest concerns. Working knowledge of computer systems helpful.
