Responsibilities include:

JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY:
Responsible to oversee and direct the efforts of Food and Beverage complex. Manages all employees throughout the shift. Responsible for product ordering, scheduling and inventories. Controls product cost through proper ordering, product proportioning and inventory control.

DUTIES:
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

Job Summary:
Maintain high safety standards and ride reliability by performing routine inspections and repairs on all attractions. Visually observe and inspect equipment during operation in order to detect appropriate operation of equipment, any physical deviations and/or abnormalities. Perform Ride Rehabilitations and new installations as scheduled.

  • Inspect, service, test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Trouble-shoot mechanical systems and devices, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and take appropriate corrective action(s).
  • Detect basic electrical system malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions(s).
  • Perform daily inspections and repairs on ride tracks and vehicles, safety systems, power systems, mechanical systems, motors, gear boxes, drives, clutches, mechanical devices, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and conveyance systems.
  • Perform welding (Mig, Tig, and Arc) repairs and/or fabrication when assigned.
  • Proficiently use precision measuring devices for testing components.
  • Set-up and operate Lathe, Mill, Drill press, Grinder, and other metal working tools/equipment.
  • Accurately read blue prints (mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic).
  • Read and understand manufacturer's manuals for service, repairs, and/or replacement components.
Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years of job experience in related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems and monitoring equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the proper utilization and care of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quickly and accurately evaluate and diagnose power and control problems on a wide variety of foreign and domestic equipment to minimize equipment downtime while ensuring employee and guest safety. Perform necessary work, track, and document preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment. Must be able to read, understand and install electrical equipment and systems from engineered drawings, plans, and verbal directions. Must be proficient in maintaining complex electrical control systems to ensure proper operation. Candidate will also respond to unscheduled emergency work orders, prioritize levels of severity, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum five years experience in an electrical maintenance environment. Journeyman level work performance. Must be able to troubleshoot and install various electrical/electronic components with a good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Medium to high voltage experience (5kv) is desired, knowledge of A/C & D/C Variable Speed Drives, Motor control and ladder Logic troubleshooting Back ground, Power and distribution systems, Extensive motor control and P.L.C experience(Allen-Bradley preferred) with some Electronic Component background. Must have no fear of heights and be able perform work at over 300ft and will also be trained for fall protection. Must have ability to handle and be trained to operate Airily lifts. *Prefer experience in water quality control.
*Prefer at least 3 years experience in swimming pool treatment techniques.

The Electronic Technician repairs, maintains, programs, and configures various electronic equipment used in the daily operation of a large amusement facility. Responsibilities:
  • Repair, program, and maintain building automation systems (BAS), including older Andover systems.

  • Demonstrable skills in soldering and general electronic repair.
  • At least two year's experience with one of the following: Programmable Logic Contollers (PLCs), Building Automation Systems (BAS), distributed audio systems, commercial audio systems, or 2 way radio repair.
  • Solid grasp of the fundamental principles of electronics, including Ohm's Law, basic AC and DC circuit analysis, basic digital logic, and extensive knowledge of common electronic components and their uses.
