1. Spectacular Fireworks Extravaganza
Don't miss the incredible 15 minute long fireworks show at 9:30 pm. The show features a patriotic soundtrack and huge fireworks that culminate into a grand finale.
2. Independence Hall
Celebrate what Fourth of July truly commemorates by visiting Independence Hall and learning about the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. From 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, “Ben Franklin” and “Abigail Adams” (wife of John Adams) will be on-hand to meet those who drop in to visit at our Independence Hall. During that time, Independence Hall staff will also be giving introductory info to each presentation of “A Storm in Philadelphia”, a 20 min. sight and sound presentation of the debates surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In addition, copies of the Declaration of Independence will be available to those who wish to add their “John Hancock” to the signatures of the other 56 brave men who in essence committed treason against the Crown by signing the document.
Knott’s Independence Hall is an exact, brick-by-brick replica of the original in Philadelphia. Walter Knott’s personal labor of love, it is the nation’s only exact replica of the Philadelphia landmark. Consistent with Walter Knott’s wishes, Knott’s Independence Hall remains a free-admission resource. Independence Hall is located outside Knott's Soak City and is open every day except Christmas from 10 am - 5 pm.
