Top 3 Reasons to Rent a Cabana at Knott's Soak City Waterpark!
Southern California is well known for its warm weather and gorgeous beaches. After living here for more than 20 years, I can testify to the fact that we have beautiful weather year-round. Even in the summer, when it ranges from the low 90s to the mid 100s, there are always places to go to cool down and enjoy the outdoors.
When it gets extremely hot in Southern California, my family and I like to go to Knott’s Soak City Waterpark to play in the cool water and enjoy the waterslides.
While there are several places for families to lounge around at Knott’s Soak City, most of the available chairs are in the sun. Besides bringing an umbrella to reserve my spot or use as extra sun protection, I like to book a private cabana for the day.
Here are my Top 3 Reasons to Rent a Cabana at Knott’s Soak City!
#1) PRIVACY
If you’re the type of person who needs to take a break from the crowds or likes your privacy, then a semi-private cabana at Soak City is the way to go. Here you have guaranteed lounge chairs and shade. Plus, if you have wee ones, they can take a nap in a quieter area.
#2) RESERVED LOCATION
When you rent a cabana you’ll no longer have to wander around the park wondering where your family is. The cabana provides a central location for your family members to check in and come and go as needed. It’s even more useful when you have a tween or teen in your party.
There are three cabanas to choose from at Knott’s Soak City: Shore Break Cabanas, Wavepool Cabanas, and Malibu Cabanas. All amenities are the same, just the location of the cabanas is different.
#3) THE PERKS
Each standard size cabana can accommodate up to 8 guests. You can invite two additional guests for an additoinal fee. Included with a cabana rental is wait service, chaise lounges, a table, 4 club chairs, and 4 inner tube rentals.
Having your own dedicated inner tube for the day beats having to wait at the bottom of the lazy river for one to become available. At least that’s what my kids say!
Another perk of renting a cabana is the endless ice water brought to you by the wait staff, along with being able to relax while waiting for your food to be delivered dockside. Anytime I can skip standing in line, I’ll take it!
Cabanas can either be reserved online or rented inside the water park (if available at the time). To learn more about “living the cabana life” at Knott’s Soak City, visit https://www.knotts.com/soak-city.
