Good grief!  There’s so much to adore about the lovable blockhead, Charlie Brown.  Charlie Brown, or Chuck as Peppermint Patty likes to call him, is the star of the show during the Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration.  The Season of Fun brings the iconic Charles M. Schulz comic strip to life.

You’re a good one, Charlie Brown.  And that’s why we love you!

5 Reasons to Love Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown is the perennial underdog It’s so easy to root for Charlie Brown.  Despite decades of bad luck, Charlie Brown manages to stay optimistic.  After years of missing the football, does he stop trying? Heck no!  Charlie Brown manages to miss the kick and still gets up knowing someday he will.

Charlie Brown is a great friend Being a good friend means investing in another person’s interests.  Did you know it was Charlie Brown who introduced Schroeder to the piano?  The duo can be found chatting about Beethoven, Schroder’s obsession.

Charlie Brown loves sports He can’t kick a football.  He often is hit by a line drive on the baseball field.  His kite gets eaten by trees. In spite of it all, Charlie Brown loves sports and finds a way to be a part of the team.  The love of the game leads Charlie Brown to continually show up for his team and teammates, even when they’re on a losing streak.

Charlie Brown gives a peek at creator Charles M. Schulz Are you a little bossy like Lucy?  A little cautious like Linus? There’s some of each of the PEANUTS Gang in all of us.  It’s true there’s a little of creator Charles M. Schulz is his lead character, Charlie Brown.  Charlie’s a cartoonist, the son of a barber, and dog lover...just like Schulz.

Charlie Brown is a fashion icon No one rocks the yellow and black zig-zag like Charlie Brown.  Add a red baseball cap and he’s ready for the runway, or at least the dugout.

Charlie Brown is such an iconic character who has brought inspiration and humor for decades. And that’s why we are honoring Charlie Brown with a special celebration of his own!

Charlie Brown Day is February 2, 2020

Show our appreciation for good ol’ Chuck by joining in a special celebration Sunday, February 2 at Knott’s Berry Farm.  Guests are encouraged to wear their C.B. best (think yellow and zigzags) and join in a special photo opportunity at the Calico Mine Stage at 11:00am

Guests to the park on Sunday will also receive a commemorative button, while supplies last.

While visiting the park, enjoy the Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration happening weekends and select days, now through March 1.  Grab a Charlie Brown Macaron, snap a selfie in an immersive comic-strip themed photo backdrop, and celebrate all things Charlie Brown!

The best way to celebrate the PEANUTS Celebration and all of the Seasons of Fun is with a season pass.
