A new food and retail experience is blooming at Knott’s Berry Farm as it celebrates the little berry that put the park on the map, with Knott’s Taste of Boysenberry Festival. Guests can catch a taste of the popular springtime Boysenberry Festival, as it offers all-new boysenberry-inspired savory foods, sweet treats and refreshing drinks that can’t be found anywhere else. To plan your day at Taste of Boysenberry Festival, take a look at our event guide outlining the ways in which you can enjoy the new and one-of-a-kind food, drink and merchandise offerings. With over 80 boysenberry-infused food and drink items offered on the tasting card, guests can choose from a lineup of tantalizing delicacies such as beer cheese soup with a boysenberry drizzle and brown butter croutons, beef tips served with creamy boysenberry mashed potatoes, and boysenberry BBQ carne asada pizza garnished with cilantro and onions, plus options for all dietary preferences. TASTING CARDS

The only way to experience the limited time Taste of Boysenberry Festival is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com. A tasting card is required for event entry. Adult tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $45 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $20 (plus tax) and include three tastings; children two and under are free. Tasting cards are date specific and must be purchased online at knotts.com or through the Knott’s Berry Farm mobile app prior to the date of visit. Season passholders receive a 10% discount on tasting cards.

Pro Tip: Make sure to purchase your tasting cards well in advance. In order to maintain proper physical distancing of guests, Taste of Boysenberry Festival’s tasting cards will be limited each day and may sell out.

 

ARRIVAL

Before arriving, please be aware that Knott’s Berry Farm continues to follow state, local and CDC health guidelines, there are new safety measures and operational changes we are establishing to ensure the safety of our guests.

All associates and guests must wear a facial covering while visiting Taste of Boysenberry Festival or the Knott’s California Marketplace store locations and restaurants- masks are not required while sitting at a table or bench to eat.

Before entering the event, you will pass through a temperature area where your temperature is read. If anyone in your party has a temperature of 100.4°F/38°C or higher, you will be directed to return home and reschedule your visit.

Parking is free for Taste of Boysenberry Festival. Arrive anytime during event hours.

Pro Tip: You can leave and re-enter the event on the same day. This means you can enjoy shopping in the California Marketplace anytime throughout the day and return to event to browse the rare, handmade and personalized gifts from over 23 artisan local crafters, including Knott’s famous chainsaw carver.

 

FOOD

Once you pass through the safety screening and security checkpoint, it is on to the main event. With over 80 food and drink options to choose from, the only hard part is deciding where to begin. Sweet or savory?

Visit Ghost Town for some boysenberry specialties such as Boysenberry Brisket Tater Tots topped with Crispy Jalapeno Chips and a Boysenberry Aioli Sauce or Boysenberry Bread Pudding with a Crème Anglaise.

Stroll down Memory Lane to grab all different boysenberry-inspired treats from Hollywood Hits. If you’re not in the mood for a savory slice of Boysenberry BBQ Carne Asada Pizza Slice with Cilantro and Onions, try the Chocolate Chip Pizza Slice with Boysenberry Ice Cream.

Head to Fiesta Village for Mexican-inspired cuisine. Grab a refreshing glass of Boysenberry Agua Fresca and make sure to try the Chef Special Tamale with Boysenberry Roja Sauce over Spanish Rice

After grabbing your treats, find a table or bench to enjoy them. Masks are not required while sitting at a table or bench to eat. Seating is spaced out throughout the event footprint and frequently touched surfaces are disinfected daily and sanitized constantly.

Pro Tip: Hand sanitizing stations are available through the event area. Be sure to utilize them frequently.
