Knott’s Spooky Farm is known for its many different features like specialty foods, fun shows, and, of course, trick-or-treating through the streets of Ghost Town. My favorite part about Knott’s Spooky Farm, though, are the photo ops around every corner!
Knott’s Spooky Farm has some really fun decorations and seasonal photo opportunities that you can only see during this time of the year.
We recommend getting to the park early in the day to get the best light and fewer people in the background. Positioned perfectly and with a bit of patience, you might be able to get a picture without any people at all in your picture!
I always plan my visit by checking out the layout and potential photo spots on the Knott’s Berry Farm Instagram feed, as well as the feed of my fellow ambassadors. They all take such creative pictures, and I always find a new spot that I might have missed on my own.
The first photo opp that you’ll see when you enter the park is the enormous tower at the front. It’s a fun background, but we keep walking straight into Ghost Town because we’ve found the best décor there.
As you enter Ghost Town, you’ll see so many buildings decorated with spiderwebs, ghouls, and spiders. At the right angle, you can’t even tell you’re at an amusement park!
We take these shots zoomed out to give it more depth and perspective.
All the buildings have a great vibe – especially when you can get the storefront in the frame.
Use as many of the features in the buildings as you can. We love leaning on a fence or even sitting down on the stairs. It’s a fun way to really use up all the space.
At Knott’s Spooky Farm, you’ll want to walk through Ghost Town and grab a pic by the giant fountain filled with pumpkins.
It’s pretty much impossible not to fill up your frame without the pumpkin, and it looks gorgeous against the blue sky.
Calico Square also has a pumpkin background on the stage. Decorate a pumpkin and show it off with the pumpkin background.
Camp Snoopy has some spooky characters set up as well, specifically for Knott’s Scary Farm, but they’re not as scary during the day.
There are tons of fun photo ops at Knott’s Spooky Farm, but above all, the best ones are the ones featuring our favorite PEANUTS characters. Ask them for a quick picture! They’re all in costume and super cute.
Knott’s Spooky Farm has so much to offer, but my favorite part is definitely all the cute Instagram-friendly spots. I encourage you to get out there and take advantage of these spots too!!!
