Knott's Gives Back to the Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park

We've said it before, but we just need to say it again, we are so grateful to be Knott's Berry Farm ambassadors, teaming up for the greater good with the biggest of hearts.

 

Tis the Season to Give Back and Be Thankful!

When Knott's offered up another volunteer opportunity, we jumped on it. Especially because it was for the Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park, and we love their entire team!

Together with over 25 volunteers from Knott's Berry Farm, Boys and Girls Club team members, and anyone who wanted to help, we accomplished a lot in a bit of time.

 

 

Everyone spent the morning gardening, cleaning up the front, re-sodding, and making minor fixes to the beautiful backyard activity space we all worked so hard to build and bring to life last year. 

 

 

The team really comes together, Knott's Berry Farm supports and donates the items needed for each project, and volunteers work hard to make it happen. (You can read about our past projects with Knott's during their 100th anniversary on the Knott's Berry Blog) 

 

 

This Holiday a very gracious and helpful present came early to the Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park, all because of donations from caring people like you!! 

Did you know that you can also be part of the change Knott strives to bring to our local communities? I know, right? How Berry-tastic!!

This Merry Farm season, Knott's has a donation page live on their website that lines up with their Best Wishes Show in Park!

Because of the amazing donations, Knott's was able to present the Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park with a check for $30k!!!!

 

 

The season of giving with Knott's Berry Farm made our 2022 special in many ways. It has taught us that we can always make an effort to give our time, that coming together with many makes big changes happen faster, that teamwork creates friendships that turn into family, and so much more. Most importantly, it has given me another year of volunteering opportunities with my family.

Seeing my daughter want to spend as much of her free time with others who wish to give their time happily, too, makes my heart full. But… seeing our favorite Theme Park work hard next to us, literally digging in the dirt, while giving us these moments to reflect on later is by far the greatest testimony of teamwork and personal growth we could ask to be part of.
