Alright, y’all, in case you didn't hear….National Boysenberry Day is Monday, April 3, 2023, at Knott’s Berry Farm, and it just so happens to coincide with the Boysenberry Festival coincidence… I think not! Read below to learn how to make the berry most of this special day.
What to do:
Top 10 Things to do on National Boysenberry Day at Knott's Berry Farm on April 3, 2023:
1. Dress your best and enter the Berry Style Stroll at 3:00pm at the Calico Mine Stage.
2. Buy your very own Boysenberry Plant, available in The Boysenberry Lane section of the park nex to the exit of GhostRider.
3. Participate in the Pie Eating contest on the Calico Mine Stage at 4:00pm.
4. Catch the all new production - Knott's Preserved. See app for showtimes!
5. Enjoy a wide selection of Boysenberry foods and beverages with a Festival Tasting Card. A Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card is available for $55 + tax online and in the park at various food and merchandise locations. (Fun tip - For a shorter line, purchase your Tasting Card at Gold Trails Hotel or the General Store in Ghost Town)
6. Shop the Craft Village for unique artisans products.
7. Check out the Art show Tied up in Knott's at The Factory Store.
8. Learn the History of the Boysenberry at Town Hall.
9. Get a free National Boysenberry Day Button at the Main Gate, while supplies last.
10. Snap and share your day with the hashtag #BoysenberryFestival and #NationalBoysenberryDay
How to Dress
Now I know you wanna wear your most forgiving clothes while eating your way through all the Boysenberry offerings the farm has right now, BUT Knott’s wants us all to show up in our Berry Best to celebrate National Boysenberry Day. I say we indulge them!
How, you ask? Just think, Berry! It can be as simple as a bowtie, gloves, a suit, dress, or even a skirt in any shade of, you guessed it, purple! Those in attendance are also encouraged to share their Berry looks online using the hashtag #NationalBoysenberryDay.
If you are in a pinch for an extra accessory or two, no worries, just visit one of the many craft vendors located within Ghost Town to complete your look.
Knott’s Berry Farm will be passing out free commemorative National Boysenberry Day buttons while supplies last, too, so be sure to dress to impress and enjoy a day celebrating the Berry that started it all with Boysenberry-themed foods, decor, shows, and most importantly you!
