Southern California is a great place to grow up. There is so much to see and do from Los Angeles to San Diego. However, there is only one amusement park that offers year round seasons of fun with a variety of awesome family friendly experiences.

We have been Knott’s Berry Farm Season Passholders for many years. We were first gifted annual passes when my kids were toddlers, so we practically feel like we’re Knott’s family. Each year we enjoy making memories in the park through the various seasons of fun. We’ve even celebrated special milestones with family and friends like my 50th birthday last year.

In January, we typically celebrate my birthday with a visit to Knott’s Berry Farm during the Knott’s Peanuts Celebration. As a matter of fact, last year we commemorated my special day with an overnight at the newly renovated Knott’s Hotel with two exciting days in the park.

Just like Snoopy, I enjoy having an extended birthday celebration with friends and family, and Knott’s is the perfect backdrop with special Peanuts themed celebratory foods and sweets.

Last year, my friends and I realized that Valentine’s Day falls during this season of fun as well, so two of my favorites and I got together for Galentine’s Day day with Lucy and the Peanuts gang.

As spring approaches, the tastiest season of fun takes over the farm. The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival ushers in spring with delicious foods and entertainment. This is the season date nights are made of. My husband and I typically schedule evenings out to enjoy the boysenberry inspired dishes and beverages, rides and entertainment.

As the days shorten the fog blows in, cobwebs emerge and ghosts come out of hiding. By day, Knott’s entertains families with all things spooky, while nightmares take over the evenings as Knott’s transforms to Scary Farm.

In the past couple of years, my daughter was finally brave enough to experience Knott’s Scary Farm. There were so many years of trick or treating through the streets of Calico or Camp Snoopy, and interacting with the ghosts of Calico during Spooky Farm, that at years old, I felt she was ready to join me for Scary. I feel like we were celebrating our mother - daughter bond with our best memory, the “Beyond The Fog Tour” we were able to walk through a couple of mazes with the lights on - something I’ll never forget. Knott's Scary Farm is not included with a regular Season Pass, but passsholders can purchase discount single admission tikcets or Scary Farm Season Pass add-on (while supplies last).

And finally, the merriest time of the year is usually a family affair. We all enjoy the sights, the tastes and entertainment of the holidays at Knott’s Merry Farm. From shopping for gifts in the Christmas Crafts Village, sipping on hot cocoa and cookies or holiday inspired foods and sharing Christmas wishes with Santa, Merry Farm is how we kick off the holidays.

I have had so many people ask me what my favorite season of fun is at Knott’s Berry Farm, and I can honestly say that they all are.  Through the years, we have made so many incredible memories during each season, it really is hard to choose.
