For Connecticut Residents
Connecticut residents have the following rights with respect to their personal data:
1) Right to Confirm: You have the right to confirm whether or not we are processing your personal data and to access such personal data;
2) Right to Correct: You have the right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data under certain circumstances;
3) Right to Delete: Subject to limitations permitted by Connecticut law, you have the right to request that we delete personal data provided by or obtained about you;
4) Right to Portability: You have the right to request that we provide you with a copy of your personal data that you previously provided to us in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows you to transmit the data to another controller without hindrance, where the processing is carried out by automated mean under certain circumstances; and
5) Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information today, and we do not have plans to sell personal information in the future, however, we do process personal information for the purpose of targeted advertising. Connecticut customers have the legal right to opt out of the sale of their personal information, even if their information is not currently being sold. You have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal data for purposes of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) the sale of personal data, or (iii) profiling in furtherance of solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
In the event that you wish to exercise any of these rights provided to you under Connecticut law, please go to www.knotts.com/privacy-request. Please allow 45 days for a response. In the event we need additional time, we may notify you that an additional 45 days may be necessary. If we decline to take the action requested pursuant to applicable law, we will notify you within 45 days from the receipt of your request and our justification for declining to take the requested action. You may have the right to appeal our refusal to a requested action, and instructions on how to avail yourself of the right to appeal will be included in any communication related to your request. We will reply to appeals informing you of any action taken or not taken in response to your appeal within 60 days of the receipt of your appeal.
