100th Anniversary Experiences
Bear-y Tales Meet & Greet
It's been 34 years since we've last seen the Bear-y family. Boysen Bear-y is all grown up and running the factory himself! Meanwhile, Crafty Coyote is hatching a plan to steal their pies with the help of his mischievous pups. Meet Boysen Bear-y and some of Crafty Coyote's mischievous pups at the new trolley stop in Charleston Circle.
Whittles Meet & Greet
Known for his tall tales, the legend returns home for the 100th Anniversary Celebration. Whittles was first seen at Knott's Berry Farm in 1973. If he's not panning for gold nearby, the jolly prospector looks forward to meeting new friends this summer in Ghost Town!
"K" Tower Lighting Moment
High above Knott's Berry Farm, the Sky Tower's neon K was originally illuminated on June 12, 1976. The Roaring '20s Airfield debuted with the Sky Jump and Sky Cabin, but above it all was a neon K, 18-feet tall and 200 feet in the air. Over 45 years later, the park’s newly redesigned Sky Tower K will light up the Buena Park skyline with over 6,000 individual LEDs, creating over 16 million color combinations.
Haunted Shack Photo Op
The famous Haunted Shack debuted back on June 19, 1954. Tour guides took guests on a journey to the center of gravity within the old shack and past an ominous sign, "Beyond These Portals Mysteries Lie." Step into this interactive tribute to this classic Knott’s Berry Farm offering with this replica photo opportunity.
Kingdom of the Dino Photo Op
The former Kingdom of the Dinosaurs attraction opened in 1987, has remained a beloved memory for many. This interactive photo opportunity celebrates the famous dark ride that took riders from the Roaring '20s and into Professor Wells' Time Machine on a journey back in time. Twenty-three full-size animatronic creatures from the Ice Age and dinosaurs filled the eight-minute ride.
Sky Jump Photo Op
In 1976, the Roaring '20s expanded with the Roaring '20s Airfield! The expansion doubled the size of the landscape and brought more thrills and entertainment options to Knott's, including the twenty-story Sky Jump parachute freefall, topped with a landmark, animated neon "K" visible for miles. You’ll be able to relive this thrilling attraction with an interactive photo opportunity.
Soapbox Racer Photo Op
Opening for the press on July 10, 1980, Wacky Soap Box Racers took riders up a lift hill, glided into Cat Nip Junction then fell under the city sewers and into Seymour Dud's Fireworks Factory for an explosive ending. Now you can relive the thrill of this Knott’s Berry Farm favorite with our interactive photo opportunity.
