Taste of Fall-O-Ween

Knott's Berry Farm introduces its newest family-friendly outdoor dining and retail experience celebrating the Halloween season and the flavors of Fall with Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween. Knott’s pays tribute to the year's spookiest season with a Fall food event unlike any other. The spirit of Halloween comes to life with a cornucopia of Harvest and Halloween décor that will transform the park for the season.

Guests of all ages can dress up in their most festive costumes* to experience one-of-a-kind themed food and treats, exclusive event merchandise including specialty items from local crafters, an all-new “Into the Fog” art show, and so much more. Plus included with a junior tasting card, young guests will have an opportunity to take a trip through the fully-themed Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Hershey and Ralphs, loaded with multiple treat stations and special spooky decorations. All Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween activities will be conducted at a safe and socially distant space for families to enjoy.

Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween will take place select days September 25 - November 1. The only way to experience Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com (a tasting card is required for event entry). Event hours will be Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12 pm to 9 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 8 pm.

Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $35 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $20 (plus tax) and include three tastings plus a trip through the Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail. Tasting cards are date specific and must be purchased online at knotts.com or through the Knott’s Berry Farm mobile app prior to the date of visit. In order to manage proper physical distancing of guests, Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween tasting cards will be limited each day and may sell out.

*While guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most festive costumes, approved face coverings are mandatory. Specific costume guidelines are outlined in the FAQs below.

What are the face covering requirements while at the park?

A face covering is required at all times except while dining at a table or bench, or when inside the designated RelaxZone. In the RelaxZone, you may remove your face covering, provided social distancing of 6ft is maintained between your party and other guests. Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, and not have exhalation valves or vents, which allows virus particles to escape.

Is a tasting card required to attend the Taste of Fall-O-Ween?

Yes. The only way to experience the Taste of Fall-O-Ween's outdoor food event is with a tasting card purchased online.

I have a season pass or an already purchased park admission ticket, do I still need to purchase a tasting card?

Yes. The Taste of Fall-O-Ween is not part of normal park operations and season passes or park admission tickets are not valid for this event. However, passholders do receive a discounted tasting card price. One discount per season pass.

Do I have to pay for parking?

There is no charge for parking when attending the Taste of Fall-O-Ween.

Can I exit and return the same day?

Yes keep your original tasting card e-ticket and you can exit and return on the same day.

Can Dining Plans or Souvenir Bottles be used at the Taste of Fall-O-Ween?

Dining plans and Souvenir Bottles are not valid at the Taste of Fall-O-Ween.

Will any rides be open?

The Taste of Fall-O-Ween is an outdoor food tasting event and will not include any rides. The Theme Park remains closed, including all rides.

If I don’t use all of my Taste of Fall-O-Ween tastings, can I use them another day?

Any unused Taste of Fall-O-Ween tastings can be used on a future day during the Taste of Fall-O-Ween in 2020; however, a new tasting card will need to be purchased to gain entry for the future visit.

Will there be other food available in addition to the tasting card items?

There will be a few select food locations open for purchases other than the tasting card offerings.

Do I need to restart my season pass payments in order to receive the discounted passholder tasting card?

No, your season pass payments will remain on pause until the park reopens. The Taste of Fall-O-Ween is a special outdoor food event and you will be able to receive the discounted tasting card price without restarting your monthly payments.

Do I need to process my season pass in order to get the passholder discounted tasting card?

No. If you have not yet processed your 2020 Season Pass, you can use the barcode on your season pass e-voucher when prompted to enter your pass number during the tasting card purchase.

I purchased a tasting card for the wrong date. How can I fix that?

If you purchased a tasting card for the incorrect date, please repurchase for the correct date and we will refund the original order. Once the new order has been placed, please send the confirmation number that needs to be refunded and the new confirmation number by contacting us.

Dressing for Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween

Guests of all ages of Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween are encouraged to come dressed in costumes to celebrate the season. There are specific costume guidelines for Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween, please take a moment to review our latest rules and regulations:

  • Costume masks and face paint masks are not allowed and cannot be used as a substitution for required face masks.
  • Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects, or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Guests may not represent themselves as a park associate.

Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, the event unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards. While we encourage creativity, we also value safety and good judgment. The above costume guidelines apply throughout the duration of Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween.  Please note: all rules, regulations, and guidelines are subject to change without notice.

Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail

All Junior tasting cards include one trip through the Camp Snoopy Trick or Treat Trail. All parents are welcome to accompany their child through the trail. If an Adult guest (ages 12+) or a guest ages 2 years and younger would like to purchase a trick or treat bag and receive candy, they will be available for purchase at any food tasting location at the park.
