Returning Fall 2019

Enjoy the spooktacular Halloween season at Knott’s Spooky Farm, a family-friendly Halloween celebration geared for kids ages 3-11. Little ghouls can trick-or-treat through Ghost Town to collect sweet Halloween treats. Fun Halloween-themed shows are in store as a friendly magician mystifies little ones with spell-binding tricks. Camp Snoopy Theater plays host to the “Monsters are Coming” show where children are encouraged to participate in the daily costume contest. The Halloween Hootenanny returns as The Timber Mountain Log Ride transforms with spooky but family-friendly surprises. The fall daytime Seasons of Fun event is included with regular park admission or your 2019 Season Pass.

Trick or Treating

Streets of Ghost Town

Kids ages 3 -11 can participate in Trick-or-Treating throughout Ghost Town, and interact with an array of spooky but friendly Shopkeepers.

Knock upon a variety of themed doors and trick or treat through Calico with the friendly ghosts of Ghost Town.

Kids can pick up their treat bag and event maps at the main gate. 

Timber Mountain Log Ride: Halloween Hootenanny

Family-friendly Halloween twist to a park favorite

Every year the citizens of the Timber Mountain invite the mysterious creatures that live out in the woods and caverns of the area to join them as they celebrate the season at the Halloween Hootenanny. The ride’s interior features fun surprises as guests venture past the Calico Coffin Creeper Band, the town’s Green Witch and splash down Skull Mountain through a labyrinth of jack-o-lanterns. The seasonal ride will also feature an original song performed by Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies. Open for day and night guests, this is the perfect family experience for all to enjoy this Halloween season.

The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown

Camp Snoopy Theatre

Families can watch the Peanuts Gang in The Monsters Are Coming, Charlie Brown performing daily in the Camp Snoopy Theatre, where they’ll have guests of all ages singing and dancing along to classic Halloween tunes.

Peanuts Costume Contest

Come to Camp Snoopy Theatre to show off your best Halloween costume at the Peanuts Costume Contest and afterwards, join Peanuts characters in a Peanuts Dance Party!

"A Trip to Camp Spooky" On The Grand Sierra Railroad

Take a ride on a trip to find added 2D and 3D Halloween Themed characters and effects. Camp has never been this fun or creepy! The Grand Sierra Railroad in Camp Snoopy transforms to a one-of-a-kind experience which takes riders on an adventure, along with the Peanuts Gang, to Camp Spooky.

Creepy Critters of Calico

Livery Stable

Stanley Scarecrow has opened the Livery Stable for guests of all ages to get close and personal with the Creepy Critters of Calico. Come see the new inhabitants for the season if you dare!

Pumpkin Patch

Enjoy the atmosphere of the season and participate in decorating your own pumpkin for an additional fee. 


Calico Saloon

Prepared to be amazed and astonished by the illusions and slight of hand of our resident Calico Saloon magician. So grab a Sasparilla or Calico Soda and delight in this seasonal treat.

Spooky Story Time

You hear something go bump in the night. Did you check under your bed? There’s nothing to be afraid of! Goblins and ghoulies are in for a treat as we gather for classic spooky story time, a tradition for many during the Halloween season.

Calliope Concert

The eerie sounds of the famous calliope will fill the streets of Ghost Town as our spirited citizens celebrate their favorite time of year.
